3Deality - Company profile
3Deality is an initiative of the dutch company Interobject BV. It focusses on applying game technology on websites and professional IT services
Interobject BV was founded in 1996 as a software company. It developed many IT systems and the leading golf course management system in the Netherlands. 3Deality is a more recent activity of Interobject and explores the implementation of 3d gaming technology and social networks in professional applications. So far 3deality has created 3D websites and golf course simulations.
The advanced game engine Unity3D is used as a development environment. Unity is a very powerful platform that supports Windows, Mac, iPhone/iPad and Android. It also provides a powerful web player for running Unity applications in all modern web browsers.
3Deality currently focusses on finding simple to use and easy to understand methods for displaying websites in 3D worlds. This website shows a glimpse of the potential of this new and largely undiscovered area.
It is time for the internet to take a next step. All we need to do is think further than we are used to. The technology is already there.
